Have you ever been without anyone else in your mind, looked into the mirror, and asked, “Who are you?“
I am curious what you experience.
Who do you see?
What do you hear?
How do you feel?
I am curious if you have been looking beyond the glass somewhere?
I encourage you to see yourself with eyes wide open, and embrace what you receive.
Trust the sounds you inherit.
Hone the emotions you vibrate.
We often look to others to see ourselves, especially when we can’t recall how we got where we’re at – but maybe we needed to forget so we could find ourselves again.
Maybe we wanted to remember so we could find each other again.
Maybe it’s coming back that we came back.
Maybe it’s going good and we’re going soon.
So maybe it’s okay to believe in a new story.
Because maybe we share The New Story.
This is short but awesome!
David, I love reading your blog. Again you have resonated with the core of my depression.
I realized not too long ago that I hadn’t been seeing myself through my own eyes. For too long, I’d seen what others saw only. Predominately the view of my creator (the person who raised me and trained me to see myself through her eyes -mom) and didn’t know what I thought of myself.
I never did for me, I did for her. Didn’t know what I wanted just what I’d been taught to want.
It’s been a new experience to see me as me from me. I have so many stories to write that are coming from this new vantage, it feels like an opening.
Thank you for this post.
Elizabeth! You are so kind and sweet. Thank you for making my day in so many ways.
Your self-awareness and lucid journey throughout this realm is quite inspiring. I look forward to your future creations with eyes wide open. 👁👁
Peace and prayers your way, and of course, please keep creating. 🙂
